Inspiration
Living in LA you spend a lot of time in your car. You can let it get to you and create bad energy for yourself and others or you can do the opposite. The wheel is one of the oldest inventions and it's great for getting us around in the real world.
The wheel can also help us circulate positive energy. The Tibetans invented a very powerful karma wheel that has been used for centuries. One day while driving on the highway it hit us that we should combine these two very powerful wheels.
We're all heading in the same direction and we need positive cycles to get there. We travel from place to place in the real world but there is another world that's worth travelling as well.
Om Mani Padme Hum
The Mani mantra, orginated from India and moved into Tibet. It is the most widely used of all Buddhist mantras, and open to anyone who feels inspired to practice it. It is said that all the teachings of the Buddha are contained in this mantra.
OM= pure body
OM: symbolizes the impure body, speech, and mind of the practitioner to be transformed pure
MA NI= jewel
MANI: meaning jewel, symbolizes the factors of method - the altruistic intention to become enlightened, compassionate, and loving
PAD ME= wisdom
PADME: the two syllables mean lotus and symbolize wisdom
HUM= unity
HUM: purity must be achieved by an indivisible unity of method and wisdom
Who Are We
We are a couple of guys living in LA with a lot of drive. We mean that literally. We've been very lucky to live all over the world and grow up believing that we're all connected by this beautiful spinning earth.
We're excited about Karmacar because we think it's a simple idea that can make a big difference. For this reason we take 10% of our profits and use it for positive change.
We do this ourselves directly with our feet on the ground whether it's in South Central LA, Guatemala, or India. This Sept we went to India with SalaamGarage. We'll be sharing our story of positive change here on Karmacar so please stay tuned.
Buddha says: “Let your mind become clear like a still forest pool.”
